Working Test Results 2024

23rd June Kent, Surrey & Sussex labrador retriever club ran our Novice and Veteran test at Primrose Farm, Arlington by kind permission of Peter Appleton. The grounds were absolutely superb and gave us the opportunity to really vary the tests.

I must thank our helpers who threw, placed blinds etc! Without you we really couldn't run these days.

Our judges for the day were David Breech, Tania Stapley, Samantha Kirkham and Sarah Burnell. A huge thank you to them for giving us their day.

We ran 4 lovely tests for the handlers and dogs. Once the dogs had completed the 4 tests in the novice category we had a 2 dog run off for 1st place and a 4 dog run off for 3rd.

No run off for Veterans.

Massive well done to all award winners 🏆

11th August Kent Surrey and Sussex labrador retriever club held their final tests of the season. This was out NDNH, Special puppy, puppy and young handler at Haxted Mead Farm, Edenbridge.

Huge thanks to our host David Spratt for letting us use his superb grounds.

Our fabulous judges for the day were: Joy Venturi Rose, Chris Rose, Sue Hedge and Sarah Burnell. Many thanks to them all for giving their day.

I must also thank our fabulous helpers who without we couldn't run these days.

Although hot today we tried to get through the tests as quickly as possible making use of the shade we could. Giving the dogs a dip in the river as we went round to cool off.

We had a fabulous new trophy to give out today which went to our 2nd Place in NDNH. This is in memory of Alistair McCrae who sadly passed away just under a year ago. His wife Sylvia presented this to the 2nd place NDNH along with his daughter and grandson. Was lovely to see them present this award.
